This breathing practice involves breathing less air than normal. It creates a tolerance for air hunger, that desire and thought in your head that you need more air. As you become more tolerant to air hunger, you make your body more efficient using oxygen. This allows all the systems in your body to use less energy and work better. It has the added benefit of helping to deal with stress and anxiety.
